This can work. It would not work for us. I just looked at our logs, and there are 129 messages to css-d mailing list, I would imagine, that a few of those would get stuck on that one. My own email corpus of the last 10 years or so has that string in in 4 times, so not a lot for certain. I try to whitelist as many mailing lists as I can, but I do not know about all of them. I guess I should at least add the mailman headers as a massively positive weight. But what to do about google groups and the huge spam problem they are having lately. jQuery mailing list is near worthless to the admins as they spend so much time blocking spams. That string may come up on that list as well. Spammers are such a pain in the ass, on this one, I do like perhaps looking for that, all caps, with the white as well, which would be a combo that I can not see any legit reason to show up on a css or JavaScript list or local user to use conversation ever. Fritz, what do you think about adding positive weight to well known mailing list headers? Or do you think spammers are onto that one and would just start shoving those headers into their junk mail as well? I look pretty close at every piece of spam that I get, and have never seen that tactic... yet. -- Scott * If you contact me off list replace talklists@ with scott@ * ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Return on Information: Google Enterprise Search pays you back Get the facts. http://p.sf.net/sfu/google-dev2dev _______________________________________________ Assp-user mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/assp-user
