I noticed this problem with ASSP version 1.6.1.4(0.0.01). I wrote a few
messages in the ASSP-test mailing list with the subject "ASSP 1.6.1.4(0.0.01)
Responsiveness".

I noticed the same problem with my Exchange server. The Internet Mail Service
SMTP Connector was always in a retry state and the message was that the
connection was being dropped by the remote host.

I upgraded to 1.6.2(0.0.05) yesterday and I think the problems have gone away.
The smtp connection state has returned to "Ready" and emails don't seem to
queue up any longer like they were before.

Kind Regards,
Brett
