Hello all, I've a lot of servers running ASSP in cPanel (ASSP Deluxe for cPanel (vers. 4.0.0) :: ASSP (vers. 1.5.1.2)), and I've some questions about ASSP cPanel Frontend.
Some users are complaining that they don't receive some messages. I acessed ASSP cPanel Frontend from a specific user, and I clicked in LOG button of *RBL SPAM Filter* section, and I got a message that log file is empty. After that, I took a look in maillog.txt, and I got the following lines: Feb-9-10 17:08:43 200.143.9.165 <x...@xxxxxxxx> MessageScore is now 40, after adding 40 (Extreme Bad History for 200.200.200.200) Feb-9-10 17:08:43 200.143.9.165 <x...@xxxxxxxx> [scoring] (200.200.200.200 listed in DNSBLcache by l2.apews.org at 10-02-09/11:03) Feb-9-10 17:08:43 200.143.9.165 <x...@xxxxxxxx> MessageScore is now 46, after adding 6 (DNSBLcache: neutral, 200.200.200.200 listed in l2.apews.org) Feb-9-10 17:08:43 200.143.9.165 <x...@xxxxxxxx> to: yyy...@yyyyyyyyy [spam found] (MessageScore 46, limit 45) -> /usr/local/assp/spam/7412.e ml; Why rbl spam filter is empty, if there are these messages in maillog.txt? To find out what is the problem, I ran a strace in cpsrvd pid: strace -vvfF -s 4092 -o /root/strace -p XXX I got the following in the output: /usr/bin/tail -50000 /usr/local/assp/maillog.txt | grep \"@cantatur.com.br\" | grep -v \"passing because spamlover\" | grep \"DNSblacklisted in\" | grep -v \"scoring:\" | grep -v \"scoring +\" | grep \" spam found\" .... I realized that the string that should be filtered when make a click in LOG button (from RBL Spam filter), should be "DNSBL" and not "DNSblacklisted". Does it make any sense? I updated ASSP deluxe and ASSP cpanel frontend, but I still have the problem. Any idea? Thank you!
