AcceptAllMail from the exchange server's IP address. -----Original Message----- From: Scheck, Doug [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: May-14-10 11:48 AM To: [email protected] Subject: [Assp-user] Allowing back-end Exchange server to forward emailthrough ASSP
I have a Exchange 2007 server behind a OpenBSD box running ASSP and qmail. Exchange send all outgoing to ASSP/Qmail box Our attorney on retainer maintains a mailbox on our exchange server, but has asked that all mail delivered to the mailbox be forwarded to their personal ISP's mail system. Anyone with an exchange mailbox can send to our attorney and the message gets forwarded no problem. Any outside email that comes to our attorney gets delivered to the exchange mailbox, but when exchange tries to forward it, ASSP kills it as trying to relay. We get a 530 Relaying not allowed - sender domain not local. No problem I'll just add the sender to my "Local Domains" list and my test works fine, but what a pain in the butt, I will have to try and maintain a local domains list of every domain that sends emails to our attorney, don't want to do that. Can I configure ASSP to ignore relaying restrictions based upon recipient address?
