Uh, right. You mean in the section called "SSL Proxy and TLS support" in bold text? Sheesh. Thanks for cluing me in. That indeed set things straight, and removed STARTTLS from both incoming and relay connections. ASSP is really very nice, but also quite complicated and takes some time to learn...I'm getting there.
