Hi all,

First of all, thanks to the community for a great product. It looks truly
awesome and I hope to have it up and running soon.

I have tested ASSP in a test lab but found that I lost some mails. I have a
rather unusual setup so here is a brief description.
At present I currently have the following:

Internet----> MDaemon---->Exchange---> Exchange Clients (internal.local domain).

Mail first comes to the MDaemon server which manages my public facing domain
e.g. www.mypublicdomain.com<http://www.mypublicdomain.com>.
If the user has a mailbox on MDaemon, the mail is delivered here and the user
can access the mail via Web Interface of POP etc.

For users on the Exchange server, I have Aliases on the MDaemon server e.g.
[email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> ->
[email protected]<mailto:[email protected]>

I also have SEVERAL domains on MDaemon other than
www.mypublicdomin.com<http://www.mypublicdomin.com> and users in remote offices
that have pop accounts on this server access their mail there.

When I tested ASSP I found that some users on Exchange seemingly lost incoming
mails.
I have internal MX records for only the "internal.local" domain.

Here is how I am planning on configuring ASSP this time. Can somebody please
verify that this is correct?

Incoming mail for Exchange users:
Internet --- ASSP(25) ----MDaemon(25)----Exchange Server ------Exchange Clients

Incoming mail for MDaemon users:
Internet---->ASSP(25) ---MDaemon(25)---->MDaemon Client

Outgoing for Exchange users:
Exchange Client -->Exchange --->ASSP(25)----MDaemon(25) -- >Internet

Outgoing for MDaemon users:
MDaemon Client ---> ASSP(25) --->MDaemon(25)--->Internet

If I implement ASSP in this way will I need to create additional MX records
internally or will ASSP transparently forward through to MDaemon on port 25 all
the time?

Any feedback appreciated!

Kind Regards,
