ASSP is a SMTP proxy - the client is NOT talking SMTP ! This is logged by
assp:
Feb-14-14 01:03:29 [Worker_1] 2.30.163.67 [EarlyTalker] got 'non
printable hex data' from the client before the '220 ...' server greeting
was sent - rejecting connection
You can prevent assp from making this check, by adding the IP or
IP-network to 'noHelo'. This will solve the blocking, but NOT the source
of the problem - the NON-SMTP talker.
If you use this quick dirty fix - the behavior of assp could be
unexpected.

Does this represent a bug in MS Outlook (Mac)? Or is ASSP too strict
here?
