>What does Sys::CpuAffinity do for ASSP anyway? It makes it possible to run the assp processes on defined CPU cores.
For example: ASSP and mySQL are running on the same 8 Core system. With Sys::CpuAffinity you can set assp to run only on the cores 4 to 7, if mySQL uses the cores 0 to 3. Like every ASSP installation I've done, Perl modules are a problem. I've managed to finally get all the modules installed except for Sys::CpuAffinity. I finally found some hope in an unrelated email from Matt Brown back on 5/16/2013. He said that since he was using a virtual OS, Sys::CpuAffinity is not needed. Is that true?
