As long as your OS supports it and there is a multithreaded Perl available
for your platform - the answer should be mostly yes.
How ever - if you plan to run assp in a Docker container and to use
OpenStack storage - keep an eye at the available resources and there
speed.
There is no known show stopper to run assp in a virtualization
environment.
ASSP does nothing know nor care about the underlying hardware.
