Reading such posts - I get tears in my eyes .... don't know really why
....
The last years we got many requests and reviews that ASSP has nearly no
documentation - IMHO this is not the case, but possibly I have a bad point
of view.
I don't expect that some will read the 134 pages of the V2 documentation
before starting with ASSP - nevertheless I recommend doing this.
Btw - everone can print there own manual (with the actual settings), using
the "Print the Manual" link in the GUI (bottom right).

This is the most BAD, BAD , BAD action you ever can take in V2. Changing
the 'webAdminPassword' outside the GUI , you'll lose all encrypted
(security related) config values and the complete AdminUsers database. And
there is no other way back to restore the assp.cfg and the two AdminUsers
files or database tables from a backup.
The consequence is: if you lose the root password, you'll lose all
security related information in assp!

Hello
I am trying to upgrade ASSP 1.9.9 to 2.4.1(14145) .
When I start ASSP 2.4.1 and I try to open the ASSP web interface ;
- old password does not work
- nospam4me does not work
I tried to stop ASSP, removing webAdminPassword row, restarting ASSP,
I can't login using nospam4me or old password. How can I login ?
