Don't pipe mails from a local domain to a local domain trough ASSP - this
makes no sense - those mails should never leave your mail server
framework.
Don't forget to set 'localDomains'.

Betreff: [Assp-user] Using ASSP as a gateway

Greeting everybody
I'm a new user in ASSP.
in my organization , 2 domains are considered; first domain was for
managers and second for other staffs. managers can send and receive email
locally and remotely from every mail server, but second domain is worked
only locally for sending and receiving email to/from other staffs and
managers.
Now we decide to merge this 2 domain to 1 by ASSP.
So I installed it on "FREEBSD" and it worked good.
I define some local users ( manager + other) . Add manager users in Local
Addresses Flat & turn on Do Local Address Check for Local Sender (DoLocal
Sender Address, default=off)
It works as I want; manager users who defined in Local Addresses Flat can
send/receive email to/from local and remote users , and other can only
send
and receive email locally.
but there is a problem:
By this setting a local user non-manager user can send mail only to one
user. when we want add more users in reception or add in bcc or cc, it
give
an error about unknown sender.
And when a local user ( non-manager) who not defined in Local Addresses
Flat send email outside gave an error instead of undelivered message. it
not pleasant.

I stuck in the problem a lot of time and can't find a configuration for
implement this scenario. would you give me help?

thanks
Neda
