Just to add a few points to add that I have gone through in the past with ASSP. I went through a period where the Coprus confidence was way out of balance. When that situation happened, I noticed an increase of spam getting through. Look at the Rebuild SpamDB report when it is finished. You should see a line listed near the bottom of the report:
Corpus norm: 0.9997 - (very good - balanced) Corpus confidence: 1.00000000 Once I got my corpus confidence back in line the amount of spam getting through calmed down. A few other key areas to look at: 1. Forward a copy of the spam to have it analyzed to see what ASSP is scoring it at. This will give you a good idea where to start and why spam is getting through. Which could also lead to my point above with Corpus Confidence. Depending on your setup, the default address would have been analyze@assp.local. So if it was changed, look at: Request Analyze Report (EmailAnalyze) under the Email interface section to see what the current entry is. If spam does get through, I submit a report to analyze it to find out why. Lots of good info in the report. 2. Look at your daily log files too. I have found instances where spam was getting through our filter because of the whiteorg.txt and whitedomains.txt files located in assp\files folder. We had both of the default files in here from our initial install. I since renamed those files and created a new text file that I manage on my own.
