Hi all,

Perl 5.30 is released. Comparing the perl 5.30 changlog to the assp code -
there should be no issue. But it can be possible, that some used modules
are affected by perl 5.30 changes.

Production systems should stay at the latest 5.28.x version.
If someone tested assp with Perl 5.30 (successfull or not) - short hints
are welcome.

Perl 5.30 release changes are shown here
https://metacpan.org/changes/release/XSAWYERX/perl-5.30.0

Strategic objective of the assp development is to switch to perl 5.30
until 31.08.2019. The target to get assp official compatible to perl 5.30
is the 30.09.2019.

>From the 1.1.2020 perl versions lower than 5.22 will be no longer
official supported by assp.
