Yep, so you're using the Strict IP blocking option. Which is also what I
am using now, because it is apparently what works.
Is there a reason you're not using the basic IP block
(denySMTPConnectionsFrom) function, which has a block file named
blockip.txt by default? How did you land on DenyStrict? Did you find the
same thing I did, that the less strict blocking didn't appear to work
for you?

Yes. I have a text file located in the files directory called denyalways.txt.
This is populated with CIDR notations. My log entry shows below on a match:
[denyalways.txt]
85.30.192.0/18 # AS42610 RU/RU NCNET-AS National Cable Networks
[assp logs]
[DenyStrict] 85.30.215.48 <clarencedavisul...@lombardiplants.it> to:
redac...@mydomain.com blocked by denySMTPConnectionsFromAlways strict: 85.30.192.0/18
