Not sure if this has anything to do with the recent announcement from Sourceforge, but I'm getting this error in my dev environment trying to run mod_inst.pl.
%HTTP_proxy% is not set - will make downloads via direct connect
the script is unable to download
https://downloads.sourceforge.net/project/assp/ASSP%20V2%20multithreading/autoupdate/version.txt
there is no Proxy configured - please check the internet
connection and the Proxy-Option
I'm able to copy that link and download the file manually through
a web browser with no issue.
