There seems to be some "extra" output (e.g. lines starting with
"PWD=") from the "substring.sh" test module on SuSE12.2/AMD64/64bit
and Solaris11/B145/SPARC/32bit (the only platforms under testing here
so far):
-- snip --
test substring begins at 2013-02-24+23:35:27
PWD=/home/test001/work/ast_ksh_20130222/build_i386_64bit_debug
test substring passed at 2013-02-24+23:35:28 [ 223 tests 0 errors ]
test substring(shcomp) begins at 2013-02-24+23:35:28
PWD=/home/test001/work/ast_ksh_20130222/build_i386_64bit_debug
test substring(shcomp) passed at 2013-02-24+23:35:28 [ 223 tests 0 errors ]
-- snip --

shtests -x output shows it comes from here:
-- snip --
:251: [[ 'Q.Q %%' != 'Q.Q %%' ]]
:254: [[ 'Q Q' != 'Q Q' ]]
:257: print PWD=/home/test001/work/ast_ksh_20130222/build_i386_64bit_debug
PWD=/home/test001/work/ast_ksh_20130222/build_i386_64bit_debug
:258:
/home/test001/work/ast_ksh_20130222/build_i386_64bit_debug/arch/linux.i386-64/bin/ksh
-c v='/vin:/usr/vin r=vin; : ${v//vin/${r//v/b}};typeset -p .sh.match'
:258: var[0]='typeset -a .sh.match=((vin vin) )'
:258: 2> /dev/null
-- snip --
