Glenn, are you going to put the syncfs() patch for sync(1) into the next alpha?
We figured that this helps circumventing NFS problems with attribute
caching in a directory, i.e. command exec {n}<$PWD/dirtobesynced; sync
-S $n flushes changed file attributes to the server. This fixes a
problem when write() to a file has not yet reached the server or the
application has changed file attributes (atime).
