I can't build AST software from scratch, the build fails. My setup is:
cygwin under Vista
AST binaries installed under /usr/ATT
AST sources installed under /usr/AST
PATH does not know about either directory
Sources were installed as follows
cd /usr/AST
tar xzf lib/package/tgz/INIT.2011-02-08.tgz
bin/package read
The build was started as follows
bin/package make 2>&1 | tee make.out
During the build some unknown program tried to connect to the outside world.
The 1st failure is
mamake [cmd/nmake]: *** exit code 139 making Makerules.mo.
I can ship the complete make.out logfile, if that is wanted.
