linux.i386 (32 bit) and ast-open built with PACKAGE_OPTIONS=optimize-space takes 1.9Mib for ksh + ast .so's + 42 section (1) commands with all POSIX options for another 1.6Mib you get 36 more commands including pax and tw so ~4Mib yields 78 commands -- these don't cover busybox, but they are the full versions
