[ast-developers] Oracle Solaris 11 ksh fails with io.sh[295]: >; not working with at all

Oracle Studio builds of ast-ksh.20120531 on Solaris 11 do not pass
these two tests:
        io.sh[295]: >; not working with at all
        shcomp-io.ksh[295]: >; not working with at all

Can anyone reproduce this?
