that is the correct fix

src/lib/libast/misc/spawnvex.c is new and is rife with #ifdefs
it handles different flavors of { posix_spawn() vfork() spawn() spawnve() }
we son't have a sol11 machine and thus didn't compile (or test) that path

the correct call is spawnvex_close()

I'm doing some more spawnvex() debugging today
the ibm "unix on foo" or whatever they call it today spawn() #ifdefs seem ok
the windows/cygwin spawnve() is next
