Hi,

the ksh manpage says:

  ^@ (Null character) Set mark.
  M-space (Meta space) Set mark.

M-space works. I've checked that typing ^@ does indeed generate NUL (as
does typing ^space), but ksh (s+) does not set the mark. Other programs
running in the same xterm (e.g., XEmacs, bash) behave correctly.

In some rare cases, ksh seems to set the mark, but this is not
reproducible. Also, typing ^@ twice seems to have the same effect as
^C.

Could this be a bug?

Thanks and greetings
