I can successfully build ksh93 on CentOS 5.0 (a Redhat Linux derivative) using gcc. However I notice that for some reason libast, libshell, libcmd, libdll are only built as static libraries.
I suspect iffe is the culprit here. So the question (for Glenn I guess) is what logic does iffe use to determine whether to build shared/dynamic libraries as well as static libraries? Building using 2008-02-02 INIT and ast-ksh source packages.
