release change logs are posted for most ast package components
the entries are order recent first
from
http://www.research.att.com/sw/download/
in the package list
follow "ast-ksh" (or any package that contains ksh)
follow "ast-ksh" in the first sentence
follow "release change log"
in there you'll find
96-07-31 --- Release ksh93e ---
recent ksh version scontain the release date in ${.sh.version}
