Greetings,

After beating my head against a wall for three days trying to build
ast-base, or even nmake, I am hoping that someone here could locate
a binary for 'ksh' compiled for Solaris 2.6 on sparc (sun4). The
build process takes nearly 24 hours to complete on the target and
every program that finishes does a segfault when invoked. On top of
that gdb only shows the last three calls in the stack frame so I
really can't debug. I tried single stepping through nmake invoked
with different arguments and all of the address-out-of-bounds
errors occurred in string manipulation and regex matching but nothing
was consistent.

Using gcc 3.4.2, SunOS 5.6 Generic_105181-26 sun4c sparc SUNW,Sun_4_50

I don't have the luxery of cross-compiling or building on a faster host
or a newer Solaris -- I need ksh to run a script that front-ends
'fsdb' in order to cross-reference bad blocks to inodes on a failed
filesystem and can't boot this machine to multiuser to make life any
easier.

There used to be a binary for sol6.sun4 on the 'net but alas I can no
longer find it.

All help is much appreciated,

Michael
