I have to second that. Very strongly, underlined and announced with fanfare. shcomp-compiled scripts *MUST* IMHO treat $"..." literals identically as scripts which are not compiled, i.e. compiled scripts have to look up the literals in the localisation catalogs the same way as the scripts which are not compiled. Otherwise we have to go back to the /bin/gettext utility to do the localisation for compiled scripts, defeating the benefit of performance of shell scripts precompiled with shcomp..
