That is what Glenn mentioned.  Now to wait for Apple to update ksh.  Maybe with 
OSX 10.7 Lion coming out next summer.

I thought about compiling my own version of ksh93 on my Mac, but I could not 
find much instruction on how to do it.  Do you know of anyone who has?
