getconf HOSTTYPE is broken too on Solaris 11 with 64bit AMD63 builds.

getconf returns HOSTTYPE=sol11.i386, but is built in
./arch/sol11.i386-64/bin. This causes tests depending on HOSTTYPE to
find extra tools like pty or msggen to fail.
