Not a big deal if somebody wants this sort of thing done for purposes that are legal, moral and ethical. Using it to tell people that their order has shipped is fine. Using it to call satellite TV subscribers or auto insurance policyholders who are about to be cancelled for non-payment is definitely a customer service app.

I never hear from the people with such needs. Whether the medium is fax, email or voice it seems that within 15 minutes or so they disclose enough to make me refuse the work.
