We will support g729 in the near future.
There will be two versions for the phone, a free one, and a paid one,
where the paid version has more codecs and more features.
Licensing information will be published once the phone is released as
stable.
We do not plan SIP support, but we do plan a linux and OS X version

Will you support G729?
Is there a SIP version of this phone?
What is the license cost?

For those still looking for alternative softphones....
We just put an early beta version online for our new iax phone, you can
get it at : http://www.asteriskguru.com/idefisk_beta.html
(Please send us all comments - we know it has some known
bugs/limitations that will be fixed in a final version, please help us
find some unknown bugs).

Hi,
We are looking for a source of a good softphone which we can brand and
distribute. We are looking to distribute approx. 10,000 in the first
instance.
I have tried and tried to get the Firefly to return my emails but no
luck so far.
Can anyone recommend a softphone which works well, can be branded and
where the supplier is responsive?
Thanks in advance.
