This is something I've been wondering about. What does this mean for the small

If the ruling comes down, doesn't this essentially kill all of us small
providers? This also helps the bigger boys too I would assume. Thus unfairly
providing advantage to them. We could bring a class action lawsuit if it came
down to it.

What do you guys thing of all this mess and how it affects us?

Anyone that got into the VoIP business and didn't do their homework (aka the entire Lemonade Stand, Reseller of a Reseller, Voice over Public Internet) is in trouble. Expect much of the market to consolidate, dry up and eventually be taken over ny the ILECS, same as Dial Up, DSL and Dedicated Internet Access.

You cannot compete w/ the ILEC. You don't own the last mile of Copper. You
will always be at their mercy and will always be at a disadvantage. The
FCC isn't helping matters.
