You get the BYE messages. Obviously, how else would you know to signal the
caller that the call needs to be terminated.

I was 99% sure on this, but after skimming the 10+ RFC's dealing with SIP I wanted to make sure. Did they really have to make SIP that complicated? Or maybe it's just overly verbose.
