It was about the XML browser built into the Cisco 79X0 and Polycom IP600 and (maybe) others. To answer the OP, Yes, XML applications do work on these phones. I have Company directory, weather reports, stock reports, currency reports and user help running on both Cisco and Polycom. They are relatively easy to do once you get used to the particular quirks and limitations of each microbrowser implimentation. Regards, Derek ----- Original Message ----- From: "Francisco A. Please correct me if I'm wrong, as I'd be very interested on it. -----Mensaje original----- De: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] En nombre de Anton Krall Enviado el: miƩrcoles, 10 de agosto de 2005 8:56 Para: 'Commercial and Business-Oriented Asterisk Discussion' Asunto: [Asterisk-biz] Asterisk and XML Applications Hi Guys! There are some phones out there that claim to be able to do xml applications and I was wondering if anybody has actually been able to develop some for Asterisk using phones like polycom, cisco, etc. Polycom for example claims it can have XML apps for directories, etc. Has anybody done this with Asterisk? _______________________________________________ Asterisk-Biz mailing list [email protected] http://lists.digium.com/mailman/listinfo/asterisk-biz _______________________________________________ Asterisk-Biz mailing list [email protected] http://lists.digium.com/mailman/listinfo/asterisk-biz _______________________________________________ Asterisk-Biz mailing list [email protected] http://lists.digium.com/mailman/listinfo/asterisk-biz _______________________________________________ Asterisk-Biz mailing list [email protected] http://lists.digium.com/mailman/listinfo/asterisk-biz
