Joe,

How many ports on each,  how many is the "high volume".
Depending on what you consider high volume you may or may not have to just pay for usage with a minimum (so your provider doesn't end up getting stuck dedicating ports to you without any compensation)

Where would your calls be going?

Michael

Subject: [Asterisk-biz] Looking for providers for DID origination with lotsof simultaneous calls

Hi,

I am looking to set up call origination from just a few DIDs, and each with many ports (simultaneous calls) and an overall high volume of minutes.
(e.g., like a calling card business where lots of users call a single number...)

Can anyone please provide some guidance on providers and approaches to this?   Most provider's plans cater to individual phone plans where only 1 or 2 ports are needed.  I wonder if anyone has worked through this and found a provider?

thank you,
Joe H
