Thanks Matt. I will make sure to start my own threads in the future. Whatcompany are you from? I am interested to learn how you have implementede911. My understanding is that only about 10% of the entire country canactually have e911 in its truest form.

Yes,
First it means don't hijack other people's threads, start your own.

Second, if this goes through, it will mean that irresponsible VoIP
providers will be starting up , and the consumer will be in danger if
they do not research the situation.   While it is good, in my opinion
to not pressure the VoIP providers into the E911 compliance, I believe
there should be E911 on VoIP.

It's really a 50/50 for me.  As a VoIP provider, we provide true E911
for the customers, and I believe all VoIP providers should offer E911
or at least some form of 911.
