LOL, well I guess it is partly Tony's story. He can tell it however he
wants. :-) That is a long ways from the truth. However, regarding the
support issue, there are varying opinions. Once somebody has paid for
custom work, it should be made to work. I know that does not always
happen. I don't intend to continue to feed what could become a
flamefest here. If you have questions, email me personally.

It was my understanding that you called Agileco complaining the night
of AgileVoice's release. At that time, AgileVoice in no shape or form
competed with your product (read: it did not support prepaid) At some
point later, you called Agileco demanding a fix price on AgileBill
which was lower than your current price (which is lower than the
retail price.) Agileco did not want to agree with that situation, as
they already were giving you the best price they could. So since you
basically showed that you didn't want to continue the partnership,
Agileco went a different direction. AgileBill has limited support,
per their website, unless you are paying for a support contract. This
is known up front. When your paying hardly anything for a billing
system, do you expect endless free support? I think the support they
give is ample, for the price your paying.

Please take what I say with a grain of salt as there is probably
conflict of interest. I was using and recommending AgileBill but we
have had serious support issues. We were "partners" until the 3 days
before they announce "AgileVoice" at which point we were not partners
anymore. I have quite a number of customers running ASTPP and
AgileBill together. It works well but we many of my customers say
that the support they get from AgileCo is not good at all. Basically,
I recommend caution there.....

*/Plug Starts/ - You could check out ASTPP www.aleph-com.net/astpp
It is being used for voip billing by many people around the world and
is open source. We are working on being able to do some dual
licensing stuff. /Plug Ends/*

Take a look at agilevoice. www.agilevoice.com We use it with
Asterisk and
it works well. I believe they have a reseller progam.

I'll get right on that in my 1.5 hours of spare time per day,
previously
devoted to sleep....seriously, looking for something relatively
"shrink
wrapped" that we can resell.
