The PMS could be integrated on other PBXs, as Nortel, OmniPBX, etc, using a program that known as "Char Hotel". That program interconects commons PBX with commomn PMS (software for htoels) giving options tipical on hotels (wake up alarm, control codes that can be dialed from the room by the personal to update room status, etc). They use a specific protocol to interconect PMS and PBX, that seems to be propietary, but very, very common.
