In addition, the infrastructure could provide a rather useful generic support interface. I have spent the past few years developing (well, 6mths building, 2 1/2 adjusting and fixing ;-) ) a system that allows time based billing, integrates with asterisk and email, logs calls, generates invoices and have you not. I wouldn't mind sharing some of the issues and ideas whilst building something like asteriskhelpdesk at all.
