Well, let's see:
1) The bandwidth for the mailing lists is donated, and multiplying that
times 3,000-4,000 subscribers seems like a serious waste.
2) 300 lines of 'text' is fine; 300 lines of untrimmed reply is
pointless, and makes us have scroll through the whole thing to see where
else you may have put additional comments.
3) Ever heard of etiquette?
