Hi Charles - We've ported quite a few numbers from Broadvoice. Broadvoice will indicate to you that their numbers are not portable. However, there is little they can do to prevent the process in light of the FCC policy regarding local number portability.
You might want to check here to make sure the number is portable to us first: http://teliax.com/npacheck If youre interested you can sign up here: https://www.teliax.com/newaccount/?r=1&cp=default Pay as you go may be the best bet, gives you a good chance to try out our quality before pulling the trigger on a port. You can change plans at any time. If you would like to initiate the port you need to fill-out and send back to us the form found here: http://teliax.com/teliax_local_loa.pdf If you have any questions you may give us a call anytime. We are available 24x7x365. Kind regards, David Aldworth Teliax, Inc. http://www.teliax.com 888-270-3688 Great Rates. Rob, Can we port our Broadvoice # to you with no problems? Many of us are dissatisfied with Broadvoice, and are looking for alternatives, but hate to lose our number.
