Hi Jean,

Quoting Jean-Michel Hiver <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>:

And then all sorts of people are going to bitch and moan that it's hard to install. People always moan anyway. No tgz, hard to install, no doc... it's certainly feelings I've had myself too but when the price is zero it's hard to complain.

Well certainly, I aint complaining the great work that they have done and the bold step that they have taken.

I was pointing out the concerns on Installer issue.
Given a howto (which they already have) and the relevant .tar.gz for remwave solution (which they need to create) is the only thing which is needed rather then an installer.

If you can deal with a tgz, certainly you can deal with a VMWare machine as well. Just copy the files over...

Offcourse yes, provided you know which files are part of the remwave solution and which are system specific, oracle specific etc. This is the reason why we need a seperate tar.gz which bundles all files related just to the remwave solution.

Cheers,
Jean-Michel.
