Look at the number of "customers" Trixbox
has.
If you have control of the package you can tweak it
for an easy upgrade of one of your commercial packages.
I look for many new features to find there way into
the package.

Automatic install of trunks for
Fonality...
My only hope is that they fix the
zaptel/zapata so it will find my T1 cards and not freeze up.
Yes, I know that there are postings on how to make
it work.
The whole idea behind the project was boot a CD and
enter a few parameters.
And I even know of an inbound call center using
Trixbox.

acquires trixbox
I don't under stand why Fonality would buy an open source
setup.
Also Trixbox is just packaging Asterisk, with other items
including Freepbx which is an GPL item.
And the Freepbx works great for
Business and in my view is far better then Fonality which I have used as well
and setup.
If your not able to setup Freepbx and get the many free
support options then your not really doing any reading as it's a very simple
system over all. And since it's back end is Asterisk there is not much you
can't do with it.
