[asterisk-biz] Pricing question for termination providers

Looking at pricing from several providers I've noticed the pricing for termination to cellular providers, other VoIP providers, etc is cheaper per minute then termination to RBOC/ILEC. Is this simply because the RBOC/ILEC charges more for the interconnection?

Jsut curious.
