Good point. That is actually what I do. It's not mostly VoIP and some POT's though. It's mostly POT's and some VoIP. It automatically goes to VoIP for LD but local is POT's. Most customer calls are local for me anyways. LD is usually suppliers so I don't need perfect sound and no delay.

You keep a couple of pots lines available and let them use those when VoIP is iffy, otherwise they are able to take complete advantage of low cost long distance, or even free LD if making calls between IP PBX systems.
