Yeah, I have a simple GE phone w/ a caller ID LCD that works fine, including lit buttons attached as my test phone, works fine with the various ATAs I have used (Sipura/Linksys, Grandstream, Dlink)

I know the Miele washer and dryer we bought had a proprietary computer interface the technician connected up to with his laptop, I cant understand why all devices don't interface via cat5.
