LNP is for the same class of service, IE, wireless to wireless, wired to wired. Technically wireless number cannot be ported to wired services, goverment BS is what it is!

Yes, but it was originally T-Mobile (Omnipoint). It think it depends more on your area than anything, if the provider can LNP a number from the ratecenter it shouldnt be an issue who the carrier is.
