I would consider any facility operated by Telx (http://

variety of carrier and ITSP tenants. You will be able to buy higher
quality services less expensively in an environment like Telx.
a) telx is not really appropriate for a smaller (less than a full cab)
customer
in atlanta (and quite a few more of the facilities that they just added), they will gladly sell you a 1/2 cabinet

b) telx is not really appropriate for someone who is not a carrier and not
prepared to pay 200$/hour for things like reboots.
telx is home to plenty of non-carrier customers who are wise enough to realize that if they want to offer quality IP voice trunking services, they need to be as close as possible to their carrier of choice. I will agree with you that they are not cheap, but they do offer more in the way of carrier cross-connect than any other facility I have found.
