Hello:
Yes, at 411XML we offer CNAM services via a simple IP/XML query.
To answer the question RE: whether we use 411 (Directory Assistance)
vs. CNAM data, we offer both.
For CNAM-type service, we have 2 flavors:
(1) “CN” service obtains 411 DA name, city, state if available,
otherwise returns true CNAM with city, state estimate (i.e. personal
names for some cell phone carriers).
(2) “CO” service is true CNAM data and includes city/state estimate.
Your choice. Many prefer (1) because the 411 DA name is longer (full
first and last name) and often more accurate and complete. (2) is for
those that want the CNAM 15-character string only and all the time for
some reason. The CNAM string, however, is very inconsistent sometimes
last[space]first, sometimes last[comma] first and almost always
truncated to fit.
We also offer full name and address service for your clients that want
full apartment-level addressing on their callers for sales follow-up
or IVR transaction automation.
Sincerely,

I'm interested in your services. My goal is to obtain the caller's Name,
Address, City and Zip.
Can you provide me a clue how much this service might costs? I'd guess
we might have 100 dips a day.
Also, do you have some examples on how to add this to Asterisk?
Thanks, Bart
