is mentioned about SineDialer. $3k for 30 channels, $2k for 20
channels, $1l for 10 channels, and $5k for up to 30 channels.

$100 per channel is for SineDialer, not ConduIT3.
I've put a very simple copy of the web interface online.
Obviously you can't save setting or modify anything as it's not really a

Actually I would prefer standard hardware that I can purchase at any
computer store. The proprietary model works for companies with large
distribution chains and local vendors that keep inventory on hand, like
3com, Cisco, Toshiba, NEC, Avaya....

This is basically for installations where there is no Asterisk
experience and is a packaged solution (VoIP termination included).
I like Switchvox for this reason, browse their website and take notes,
kind of Dellish on the purchase page. You can make OSCommerce do that
with a little work. Screenshots are nice. I also like their selection
wizard.
