Yes forgot to mention .. make sure you take in account the latency of your connection to your server plus from there to your carrier before renting dedicated server. If you are not doing much recordings or touching media stream .. sip re-invites can always be used ... or iax transfer . Remote sip extensions work fine in most of nat environments and for rest there is iax :) .
